Blencogo Farm Alpaca Experiences are located in Blencogo near Wigton and are popular with all ages and abilities. Their alpacas are friendly and curious and love meeting new humans. You can feed them, walk them and they take lots of great photographs which they email you following your visit. They can show you some beautiful alpaca fleece and what they do with their fibre post shearing. They answer any questions you may have. Their current favourite is: "Do alpacas lay eggs?"
Check out their photographs on their Facebook page, Blencogo Farm and on their website (link above) to see more of what they do. Blencogo Farm Alpacas are regular visitors to local schools and care homes and particularly enjoy the work we do with adults with dementia and Alzheimer's and youngsters with autism.
Blencogo Farm re-opens for pre-booked Alpaca Experiences on Tuesday 14th July. Slots are available Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Booking is by phone 016973 61066. Prices start at £40 for up to 4 people.
Blencogo Farm Alpacas have a new addition - As Good As Gold born in June 2020 (photograph above).
