In line with Government guidance on COVID-19 and the recommendation to avoid gatherings and crowded places, The Laxfield and District Museum has taken the decision not to open at all this season. The Laxfield and District Museum, Suffolk houses artifacts and photographs illustrating rural and domestic life mainly from the 19th century.
They have regularly changing exhibitions - this year includes a display of ways in which people used symbols and objects to protect their homes and animals from witches and other perceived evil influences. There is also a hands on children's area for exploring the past.
The Laxfield and District Museum is set in a beautiful early 16th century Guildhall in a historic village.
