Holmes Glass - The age old craft of glassmaking is practiced by the Father and Son team of glassmakers Andrew and Peter Holmes. With a combined 82 years experience.

Holmes Glass is set in the beautiful Scottish Border Lands of Southern Scotland, in the Historical Town of Selkirk. 45 miles South of Edinburgh on the A7 and 55 miles from Carlisle and M6 motorway follow the A7 Tourist route to Edinburgh.

We offer one to one glassmaking experiences where you can choose from making 1 piece, assisting in making a vase and friendship baubles. Please find booking details on our website at www.holmesglass.com.

We make by hand, bowls, vases, paperweights, sculptures, and a varied glass gift range. We accept personal commissions, business and sporting awards.

You can view items being made from 11am to 4pm Mon to Fri, Saturday?s 11am-1pm. Please contact us if you are planning a visit to see glass being made as sometimes this is not possible due to glassmaking experiences or the melting of new glass at that time.

Workshop Open: 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday, Sat 10am to 1pm.
