The Clwydian Ranger is a network of Summer Sunday and Bank Holiday scenic, recreational bus services to and within the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is designed to offer car-free access to this lovely area of countryside from July through until September. The Ranger network allows local people and visitors from Prestatyn and other areas to enjoy a day out in the countryside without a car, or to park at Prestatyn, catch one of the buses to an outward point on a trail, including Offas Dyke, and walk back without having to retrace ones steps. Bodelwyddan Castle, close to the village of Bodelwyddan, near Rhyl, Denbighshire in Wales, was built around 1460 by the Humphreys family of Anglesey as a manor house. Its most important association was with the Williams-Wynn family, which extended for around 200 years from 1690. It is now a Grade II* Listed Building.
