Nestled in the Golden triangle between the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Stonehenge, Bath and Avebury Stone Circle, the multi, award-winning Avalon Lodge Bed and Breakfast, Devizes is more than just a place to stay.

Arrive to a warm welcome with drinks and biscuits in the exclusive guest lounge or, during the summer, on the sunny patio. Apart from meeting your hosts, Nick & Jenny, you'll probably become acquainted with the free-range hens and ducks, not to mention their two rescue donkeys who'll want to say hello from their adjoining paddock! The detached house is warm, welcoming, spacious, comfortable and modern set in large gardens on the outskirts of Rowde, a mile from the historic market town of Devizes.

The en-suite bedrooms and exclusive guest sitting room are tastefully furnished (including a four-poster bed) with sumptuous linen, fluffy bath sheets, cosy dressing gowns, extensive hospitality trays and fully stocked silent fridges. Three of the four rooms have south-facing balconies overlooking the countryside and our rescue donkeys.

Choose your breakfast from their renowned menu with their free-range hens and ducks providing the eggs and the local farmer supplying the best bacon and sausages whilst enjoying freshly ground coffee or one of the many teas or fruit infusions.
