A warm welcome awaits you at The Manor House, part of which dates back to the 17th Century. The bed and breakfast property stands in beautiful south facing grounds with a terrace for your enjoyment in the good weather and there is ample off street parking. We have a delightful residents lounge and a well stocked library. Breakfast is served around our large dining room table. We have three guest bedrooms available, each with an ensuite bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities, hair dryers and flat screen televisions.
The area is an ideal base for those wishing to explore the Yorkshire Dales, James Herriot country and the North Yorkshire Moors, with the cathedral city of Ripon being only twenty minutes drive away and the medieval city of York and delightful spa town of Harrogate within an hours drive.
We are not only surrounded by magnificent countryside and scenery but the ancient castles of Middleham, Richmond, Raby, Bolton, Barnard Castle (and Bowes Museum), the ruined abbeys of Jervaulx, Fountains and Riveaulx and the beautiful gardens of Constable Burton and arboretum at Thorp Perrow.
