Built on the grounds of Baynard Castle, The Toll Cottage Bed and Breakfast, Hull was named after it's position the toll gate of the castle.
In 1792 when George Knowsley created the street bend bringing the castle's outer moat inside the ground of his house, the eighteeth century cottage on the mysteriously became knows as click'em in (n).
Toll Cottage was rebuilt in the mid 80's using some of the original bricks.
The Toll Cottage has been completely renovated and refurbished to offer luxurious, homely and comfortable accommodation suitable for business or pleasure.
The Toll Cottage has won remarkable East Yorkshire Tourism Awards 2018/2019.
