Ballyhargan Farm House has been the family home for over 150 years and is set in the centre of it's associated land. You will enjoy a spectacular view of the Sperrin Mountains sweeping up from the coast, past the house and heading inland, as you sit and enjoy your breakfast in the large Sun room over looking the garden.
We offer two comfortable double rooms with large, well decorated en-suites. For those travelling with children we can offer cots and bedding for babies and inflatable beds and bedding for older children. also we have a high chair which can be used by younger children. We offer guests the use of our Drawing room with open fire, (on colder evenings), and the Sun room where you can enjoy the view and the evening heat in the Summer.
We serve breakfast in the Sun room which consists of any or all of cereal, fruit juice, toast, tea/coffe/locally produced pork and leek sausages/ locally produced dry cured bacon/soda bread/potato bread and scrambled/fried egg. As long as we have been pre-warned we are happy to supply breakfasts for people with special dietary needs and, as per recent regulations we must warn guests that the food served may contain cereals, crustaceans, egg, fish, peanuts, soyabeans, milk, nuts, celery, mustard which are allergenic foods.
We have a large garden, and, in the good weather we can let you have a try at croquet, (although our lawn isn't quite croquet lawn standard), or you can have a game of tennis in the full size court and we will supply all the equipment needed. If you would enjoy something a little less energetic we can also offer a ten foot snooker pool table and once again all equipment would be supplied. In the Sun room you will find a selection of games for both children and adults should the weather not be so nice. As I previously mentioned, we have a large garden where children can run about and play with a small selection of toys available, or dogs run some of their energy off.
We would be happy to advise our guests of places of interest that they might like to visit and give directions and have a selection of brochures which they are free to take with them and they can make use of the information file supplied.
