Southern Ireland - Bed and Breakfast Accommodation

A truly magical destination, a place where rich contrasting landscapes and naturally warm and engaging people combine to ensure an amazing experience. With breathtaking landscapes, magnificent waterways, and castles that come alive with historical significance, you will be spoilt for choice for things to see and do when you visit Ireland. For something different try Galway International Oyster Festival in September or in June watch the Waterfords Tall Ships Race in Irelands oldest city, Waterford, where 70 tall ships race around the quays for four thrilling days.

For those of you who are interested in history, a visit to Leap Castle, Tipperary is a must, reputed to be Irelands most haunted castle giving off a ghastly ghostly odour. A visit to Kylemore Abbey, (the No. 1 visitor attraction in the West of Ireland ) is not to be missed. Here you can learn the history of a truly magnificent abbey which started life as a castle in 1867 but in 1920 became an abbey and is the oldest of the Irish Benedictine Abbeys. After a walk round the extensive walled gardens you can then enjoy refreshments in the Tea Rooms.
