Plas Bwlch Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast, Llangurig is a cosy Georgian farmhouse set within a 15 acre smallholding. We are situated along the picturesque Upper Wye Valley, with breathtaking views. We run a small flock of sheep, alongside a selection of ducks and chickens, which provide our guests with glorious fresh eggs for their breakfasts. We also have a fully stocked trout lake, for those guests who fancy their hand at a bit of fly fishing, or why not just come down and feed the fish with us in the evening and watch them jump and boil.

We offer a double and a twin bedroom, both en-suite and fully equipped with digital TV, drink making facilities and fresh fluffy towels. Guests have their own lounge to relax in or if the sun is shining, why not sit out and enjoy a cold drink in the secluded courtyard. For cyclists, motorcyclists or rally drivers alike, we offer securely locked off road storage and ample off road parking. En-suite bedrooms, beverage facilities in rooms, guests own dining room / lounge, courtyard, large off road parking area, secure locked storage for bikes, rally cars, trailers etc.

Ride on a steam engine from Aberystwyth to Devils Bridge where you can gaze on stunning waterfalls. The Victorian seafront town of Aberystwyth gets you to the sea with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops to choose from.

Visit a nearby craft centre or maybe go book hunting in the world famous Hay-on-Wye. The Center for Alternative Technology in Macynlleth is inspirational, or, if you are into ancestry, the National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth will help you find your roots.

Time your visit for the Royal Welsh Show or the Winter Fair in Builth Wells, the Brecon Jazz Festival or the Wales Rally GB.

We are fortunate here in that there are many beautiful places to walk. You can walk to the Source of the Severn from Hafren Forest. The Severn Way, Britain's longest riverside walk, begins at the Source extending some 210 miles and is the longest riverside walk in Britain. You can also explore the many walks on the Hafod Estate, near Devils Bridge. In all, you can reach three stunning areas for walking, all within 15 miles from Plas Bwlch.

For guests who wish to go exploring, we have various maps and literature covering the Wye Valley and the surrounding countryside. The area is renowned for its walking paths.
