Wellington Country Park and Campsite is situated between Reading and Basingstoke with easy access from both the M4 and M3 motorways and is ideal as either a destination for a family break, or as a touring base for the South. Our campsite is located within the Park and offers you the opportunity to pitch up within the beauty and tranquility of a woodland, with open parkland, lakes and nature trails to explore. Being a family site, children of all ages are welcome. We are particularly popular with families for Bank Holidays and weekends, so we advise booking as early as possible.
Surrounding our beautiful 35 acre lake is the perfect location for a family gathering, picnic or BBQ. On the other hand, if you want to relax and enjoy your day, then eat in our cafe and browse round our shop. Parents are reminded that ALL children must be supervised at all times and there is NO fishing, boating, swimming or paddling permitted in the lakes. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead and not be left unattended.

As a touring base and being located between the cities of Reading and Basingstoke, it means there are fantastic shopping facilities, cinema's, indoor swimming pools, ice skating and a host of cafes and restaurants available within just a few miles. The nearby location of the New Forest, Newbury and Windsor racecourses and many other visitor attractions including Legoland, Chessington and Thorpe Park, provides our guests with a superb variety of leisure activities. The coast is only an hour away as is London and the historic cathedral cities of Winchester, Salisbury, Windsor Castle, and the University town of Oxford are within driving distance .
Included in your stay is UNLIMITED access to the Country Park with several adventure play areas, adventure trail, sand pits, slides, miniature railway (£1.50 extra), animal farm, splash zone, 12 holes of mini golf and our dinosaur trail! Within our woodlands, there are four nature trails to follow, taking in sights of our vast array of wildlife in their natural habitat with one trail allowing you to get up close and personal to our resident herd of Red Deer, all on your doorstep!
