The Shepherd's Retreat sits in its own garden nestled among the trees, and is completely separate from the main house. It has its own car parking space and cannot see or be seen from the main house. The ground is slightly sloping and railway sleepers link the parking area and the elevated hut accessed by 2 steps to the deck.

The Shepherd's Retreat is set in the grounds of The Coppice Guest House where breakfast can be provided upon request. There is no TV but a DVD player can be arranged. WiFi can be used by arrangement at the main house upon request. The Hut has a double bedroom and all bed linen, towels, electricity are included in the price, together with plenty of logs for the garden stove. The bathroom has a large walkin electric shower, full size toilet and sink and heated towel rail. The kitchen is bright and airy, with light flooding in from the kitchen window and french doors and has an oven, hob, toaster, fridge and kettle with a dining table and 2 chairs. The french doors open on to a lovely wooden deck with bistro table and seating. There is also a wooden bench and table in the garden and chiminea for romantic nights under the stars!
