Goldings Cabin

The Hop Garden, Tintern, Monmouthshire, NP16 7NX

Goldings Cabin, Tintern is the latest addition to the family of creative glamping spaces at Kingstone Brewery, each in their own tree-lined part of Ed & Tori's land in the Monmouthshire hills. Laze in the garden or on the deck, wander over to your private firepit or take a brewery tour and discover the superb range of artisan ales brewed a few hundred yards from your cabin.

If you're around on the first Saturday of the month, you can join pizza night, when the trellised courtyard draws guests and locals with wood-fired pizza, great beer and a lively atmosphere. Whenever you visit, the area is full of potential for days out exploring. The majestic ruins of Tintern Abbey are round the corner, you can hire bikes on site and head off on the trails, and there's lovely canoeing on the Wye, where you can paddle right up to the quays of the riverside pubs.

If you're not feeling too energetic, then you'll find the cabin itself is a great place to hang out. There's a cosy sofa by the electric fire for when the night draws in or the weather is poor, hobs for cooking up simple meals and a fridge for keeping your beer cold. Outside you'll find a fire pit so you can sit out and enjoy a bit of the wild life, but there are plug sockets and electric heating so you'll never lack for creature comforts either. All in all, it's an incredibly relaxing place, which is mostly because of having your own bit of countryside for a few days of peace, but might just have something to do with all the beer.

Gather forest fruits from the meadow for a bellyful of raspberries and loganberries which the laid-back hosts are happy to share.

Bring torches, wellies, walking boots and towels.
Brewery shop onsite selling real ale and cider.
Supply of firewood provided for the firepit to get you started. The owners do not sell additional firewood, however there are local shops where firewood can be purchased.
Mobile phone signal. WiFi available outside the brewery shop.
Goldings Cabin is located at The Hop Garden - a unique glamping site that provides an unforgettable stay. Located in the heart of the Wye Valley, area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
