Foxglove - South Berrington Shepherd's Huts

Ancroft, Northumberland

Luxurious, enchanting and wonderful rural getaway
Foxglove, Ancroft offers self catering accommodation that has one king-size bed as well as full-size single bunk beds. This hut can accommodate up to four guests. The bunk beds convert to bench seating during the day - to give you as much space as possible to relax in.

There's a galley kitchen with an electric two ring electric hob, microwave combination oven, a fridge under the counter, toaster, kettle and even a DAB radio. You can also use the extendable dining table which seats up to four guests.

A large, raised deck with easy ramp access is included, to support the needs of any guests who have mobility issues. Just past the kitchen in the hut is also a wet room with an electric shower, washbasin and WC.

The hut is super-insulated with electric tubular heating and an electric stove with a 'real flame' effect to really warm you up in those colder times of the year! We also have satellite wifi if you need it.

Guests can also hire Colin, a cute retro blue caravan at GBP25 per night (subject to availability) where the younger members of the family can have their own little mini-adventure - a fun den for day use but setup for sleeping capacity too! If needed, Colin can also hold two full-size humans as well!

Outside, there's a wonderful little picnic table and comfy garden furniture to sit and enjoy views over the nearby countryside. A night time, our fire pit can be brought over on request to round off your day in style.

Up to two dogs are welcome at Foxglove and there are kennels on the farm if you need them. If you give us prior notice, your horses are also welcome to come along - we have grazing and stabling ready on-site for you at additional cost.

There's no access for your vehicle anywhere inside the paddock where the huts are, but there is a car park just to the left-hand side when you first drive into the farm entrance.

Dedicated parking provision is available for guests with mobility impairment.
