3 Star
The Wynnstay Hotel, Machynlleth is an old Georgian Coaching Inn, it's a quirky but charming old building, with en-suite rooms, serving excellent food.

We consider ourselves anything but ordinary. We might be a traditional coaching inn by sight, but we love to offer more than just a hotel stay when here. Our food and drink options are high-quality and we welcome families, cyclists, motorbike clubs and everyone in between!

We have 25 individually designed rooms. All rooms come en-suite with colour TV's and free wi-fi. A hearty Welsh breakfast comes as standard with all room bookings, and we endeavour to meet any requests you may have.

All rooms come equipped with quality coffee from Cafe du Monde, Welsh Brew Teas, as well as Myddfai toiletries which smell delicious. We're proud to partner with Myddfai which is a social enterprise, whose mission is to provide volunteering opportunities for vulnerable adults from the local community.

We have room options perfect for everyone including:

Large Single
Standard Double
Large Double
Large Twin
Family room (1 x double bed, 1 x single)
Lloyd George Four Poster bed room

We like to think we've considered the little things that can make a stay even better, so we strive to make sure the hobbies or dogs in your life are catered for too.

We have secure storage for bicycles and motorbikes on site; please enquire at reception at the time of booking or on arrival if you require this service.

Well-behaved dogs are always welcome too and can stay with you within our standard rooms (£10 per dog), just let our reception staff know at the time of booking.
The Wynnstay Hotel is located right in the centre of the ancient market town of Machynlleth, the ancient capital of Wales, on the southern (quieter) side of Snowdonia National Park.

Excellent activities nearby such as The Dovey Valley Shooting Ground and the Dyfi Bike Park. Lots of food fishing for trout, stout and salmon.

An ideal location for exploring Snowdonia, the coast, Glyndwr's Way and the Welsh Coastal Path.
