Chantry Cottage in Blythburgh, Halesworth, Suffolk is a picturesque detached late Georgian house in the heart of the beautiful village of Blythburgh and opposite a fine medieval church which hosts many musical concerts.

The cottage will accommodate up to four people in three bedrooms; two doubles (upstairs) and one single room downstairs - the choice is yours. It has two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs and is an ideal retreat for couples, families, walkers, music lovers and bird watchers. Well behaved dogs and children are welcome.

Chantry Cottage combines charm and character with comfort and convenience. The lounge has a wood burning stove, and there is a dining room and separate kitchen. We have just installed bespoke wooden windows for added comfort.

The two upstairs bedrooms enjoy views over the pretty cottage garden, towards the Church and the Blyth Estuary.
Chantry Self Catering Cottage, Blythburgh is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just inland from Southwold Dunwich and Walberswick, is close to the RSPBs Minsmere nature reserve, which was the location for BBC Springwatch. It is the starting point for numerous walks along the coast or inland along the River Blyth to Wenhaston and Halesworth and is convenient for music lovers attending the Latitude Festival at Henham Hall and the Aldeburgh Festival.

The White Hart, just a few minutes walk from the cottage, serves home cooked meals.
