Welcome to Garreg Lwyd Cottage, my cosy, c600 sq.ft, two bedroom, c1825, stone built, terraced artisan self catering cottage in a small cul-de-sac within the walls of medieval Conwy town.
The cottage is rated four stars by Visit Wales and is available for short-term holiday letting throughout the year - when I'm not at home there.
Being fully equipped for self catering is ideal for a small family or two couples.
The price includes bed linen, towels, electricity, gas central heating, Wi-Fi etc
A Covid-19 tracing sanitising and cleaning regime is being developed in line with government guidelines, to ensure guests and caretaker safety.
The cottage briefly comprises:
Sitting/Dining Room Free-Sat TV/radio, CD-DVD, WiFi, three seat settee, two easy chairs, dining table with four chairs, mini inglenook with multi-fuel stove. Selection of CD's, DVDs, books, local guides, maps, games etc.
Kitchen: electric oven/hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, coffee percolator, toaster, crockery/utensils/linen for cooking and dining.
Utility Porch: for raincoats, boots, clothes line, fuel store, etc
Walled Courtyard: table, chairs, parasol, mini BBQ, flowers plants, sink.
Double Bedroom: 4ft 6in bed, bedside lockers, chest of drawers, radio.
Twin Bedroom: two 3ft beds, bedside chest of drawers,
Dressing Room: wardrobes, drawers, hairdryer, ironing board, spare duvets.
Bathroom: WHB, WC, on demand shower over bath, fan heater, mirror, light with shaving point etc.
Heating: gas central heating on-demand hot water, multi-fuel stove.
Windows: Double glazed at rear, Georgian style in front.
Parking: at the front door unreserved.
Garreg Lwyd Cottage is located within the ancient walled town of Conwy, a UNESCO designated Heritage Site steeped in history and dominated by a 13th century castle and walls.
Situated near the mouth of the Conwy River on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, Garreg Lwyd Cottage is the ideal place for enjoying many outdoor activities or for just relaxing in an interesting comfortable home from home.
