Witherslack Cycle Barn, Grange Over Sands is a self catering Bunk House accommodation in the South Lakes.
Designed for cyclists, walkers, kayakers and runners with all the facilities needed for an active break. In the perfect location for a quiet stop over located in a nature reserve. Providing a clean bright warm space with full cooking facilities, secure bike store and outside area. In the tradition of hostels you will find comfy bunk beds, warm showers, relaxing lounge areas and a place to prepare a meal.
For individuals and groups from Â£25. Can also be booked exclusively (min 2 nights). For those lone travellers on tour we can do one bed for one night (not weekends).
14 people in 4 rooms - a twin room with mobility adaptations 'The Yellow Jersey', single bunk room 'Team Sky', family bunk room for 4 'King of the Mountains' and 6 bed bunk room 'The Peleton'.
Meals can be provided but must be pre-booked. Food parcels can be arranged.

Witherslack Cycle Barn is located in the Lake District National Park, south Lakes area, between Grange Over Sands and Kendal and 7 miles from Lake Windermere.
Nestled under Whitbarrow Scar, a nature reserve, and surrounded by woodland, where the mountains meet the sea. You?ll find plenty of beautiful low fell walks/rambling from our doorstep and quiet lanes and bridleways for cycling. It is a very peaceful place, with buzzards, foxes, owls and deer in abundance.
