Kingfisher Lodge is a brand new spacious self catering Lodge and offers quality accommodation, where you can relax quietly with a coffee or a glass of wine on the verandah while it catches the sun most of the day, and at the same time be close by the activity centre and bars and restaurant. Centrally heated, with TV, DVD etc., excellent kitchen facilities inc. fridge/freezer and dishwasher, and en suite to the master bedroom, you can enjoy home from home comfort. Up to six guests can be accommodated including two on the sofa bed.
Kingfisher Lodge, Ringwood, is just up the road from the NEW FOREST NATIONAL PARK with free roaming ponies donkeys and cattle (do not feed them or get close), and its quaint villages tucked away with tea shops and pubs. As well as Beaulieu and Burley, try Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst, Lymington (ferry to IOW) , East Boldre or Mudeford with crab fishing off the prom!
The NATIONAL MOTOR Museum at Beaulieu with the amazing Exbury Gardens nearby (and Lepe Beach close to that) as is Bucklers Hard where Henry 8th built his warships. Paultons Park where you find PEPPA PIG WORLD (and more) is not far, as is MONKEY WORLD, MOORS VALLEY PARK, the TANK MUSEUM (whole day needed here), BURLEY (STREET) village for the witches and wizards among us. And of course there is the JURASSIC COAST for fossil hunting on Lyme Regis Beach.
The South Coast offers many beaches, the big ones including Bournemouth, Poole and Sandbanks but also smaller ones at Milford-on-sea, Barton-on-sea and Keyhaven.
Not far away are market towns of Ringwood (closest),Salisbury and Winchester and Southampton is 40 minutes away with its shopping and restaurant/cinema complexes at West Quay and access to the IOW with Queen Victoria's Osborne House.
