Gentle, quiet, undulating roads and byways make this perfect countryside for walking or cycling and anglers can enjoy some excellent coarse fishing from the banks of the many rivers. The wildlife includes deer, badger & the large variety of bird life that the Somerset levels attract. Local industries include cider making and with growing for basket industries, which you can learn all about at the nearby 'Willow and Wetlands Visitor Center'. Mystic Glastonbury & to the south days out on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast at Lyme Bay. To the west Exmoor & all the Devon attractions are within easy reach.
