Hillside Self Catering Cottage is a 135 year old Character Cottage in Wirksworth, Peak District, Derbyshire.

This bijoux little cottage with Scandinavian influenced design and top quality fittings throughout is lovingly restored with plenty of character features. Warm and welcoming it has everything you need for a very comfortable and relaxing stay, including a fully fitted kitchen, high quality bedlinen and towels, free WiFi, DVDs, books, and lots of walking and cycling straight from the door.
Hillside Self Catering Cottage, Wirksworth can be very easily accessed from Derby, Nottingham, Sheffield and Manchester, as well as from the main motorways including the M1. The nearest train station is Cromford, with the scenic train journey starting from Derby. There is also a small railway station in Wirksworth (although trains can be infrequent), which connects to Duffield train station for onward travel to Derby.

We are conveniently located in Derbyshire with easy access to explore the Peak District, but also easy to reach with number of airports nearby. East Midlands airport (45mins/25miles), Birmingham (1hour 15mins/50miles) and Manchester airport (1 hour 20mins/60 miles) are nearest. Car hire is available at all airports listed.
