Hestercombe House & Gardens, Cheddon Fitzpaine, Taunton, is a quintessential English country garden but is unique in its combination of three periods of garden design including a Georgian Landscape Garden, a Victorian Terrace and an Edwardian Formal Garden designed by Edwin Lutyens and Gertrude Jekyll.

Comprising over fifty acres, Hestercombe has been lovingly restored to its original splendour and is now a historically significant garden of international acclaim.

The award-winning visitor facilities include the warm and welcoming Stables Restaurant with a bright, airy courtyard, gift shop and plant centre. Inside the historic Hestercombe House find Hestercombe Contemporary Art Gallery, gallery shop, second-hand bookshop and period rooms, providing lots more to see and do, whatever the weather.

Hestercombe is nestled in countryside at the food of the Quantock Hills in Somerset. It is only three miles from Taunton and just 15 minutes from junction 25 of the M5.

Opening Times: -

Every day (except Christmas Day and Boxing Day) 10am-6pm, last entry 5pm.
(10am-5pm in Autumn and Winter, last entry 4pm).
The gardens at Hestercombe are dog friendly and host events throughout the year.
