No. 7 Harney Peak, Portinscale is a self catering holiday home for two, styled to combine character and contemporary features with quality and comfort.
The accommodation is ideally situated for you to explore this beautiful part of the Northern Lake District all year-round, surrounded by some of the most magnificent scenery in the Lake District National Park including the Skiddaw Range, Newlands Valley and Borrowdale.

Apartment 7 is located on the ground floor with a private entrance and easy access. The inner hallway has storage space for coats and boots.
Our modern kitchen is fully fitted with an integrated self-igniting gas hob, fan-assisted oven, washer dryer, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. The cupboards are well stocked with all the utensils you would need on a self-catering holiday.
The open plan living/dining room is spacious with a comfortable sitting area equipped with internet enabled television and DAB radio. The bookcase is stocked with a variety of books and a selection of walking guides for use during your stay. For your convenience, we provide a range of tourist information and leaflets for local attractions and places to visit, to help you plan your holiday.
Tastefully decorated, the large double bedroom is fitted with solid wood furniture and has plenty of storage space. A choice of seasonal, hollow-fibre duvets is provided and the bed is made up for your arrival. A hairdryer is available.
The en-suite bathroom has a Mira twin-head shower in a double-sized enclosure, WC and washbasin. There is also a heated towel rail.
An iron, airer and ironing board are also provided and a range of cleaning products.
The property is warmed with gas central heating.
There is private, off-road car parking immediately in front of the apartment.
Outside there is a secure bike store and drying room for wet clothing, conveniently located next to Number 7.
Garden furniture is available for your use on the patio outside the apartment.
Free Wifi Broadband is provided.
Bed linen, bath mat and tea towel are supplied. Towels may be hired at a cost of £5 per set
A small, well-behaved dog with responsible owner would be welcome at No. 7 in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. If prior arrangements have been made with us, a dog would incur an additional cost of £20.
7 Harney Park is set in the peaceful village of Portinscale, nestled on the edge of Derwent Water, the property is only one mile from the bustling market town of Keswick.
Within the village refreshments and meals can be taken at The Farmers Arms public house and the hotel restaurant at The Derwentwater Hotel - all less than five minutes walk away. The Chalet Bistro and village store is situated directly opposite Harney Peak. There are also two marinas in the village.

Evening entertainment includes a cinema and the award winning Theatre by the Lake with its year- round programme of exhibitions and live performances. The lively Saturday market sells local produce and crafts and throughout the year there is a variety of festivals and the Keswick Show.
