Henmore Grange is a charming traditional stone built cottage in the pretty hamlet of Hopton, which overlooks stunning Carsington Water. Built in 1759, the spacious house combines a wealth of original features with stylish modern facilities for a relaxing carefree stay in superb accommodation. The cottage has been finished to an extremely high standard and features lots of character including wooden beams and open stonework. The 4-bed roomed cottage has full central heating for all-year round comfort, a kitchen/ diner that seats 8 adults, a snug cosy sitting room with 50-inch Smart TV and WiFi. There are three double bedrooms here, one on the ground floor and all with en-suite facilities, and a fourth twin bedroom. There is also a family bathroom with a roll top bath. Outside there is parking for 4 cars, a secluded courtyard with all-weather seating and lawned area, with a BBQ available for outdoor dining.
Set in the Derbyshire Dales on the edge of the Peak District National Park, Henmore Grange is located on the edge of Hopton the small hamlet just outside Wirksworth which is two miles away "The Gem of the Peaks", famous for its art festivals, well dressings and historic Ecclesbourne Valley Railway. It sits adjacent to Carsington Water Reservoir between Ashbourne and Matlock, within easy reach of Chatsworth and Alton Towers. Henmore Grange was built in 1759 and its location and facilities are where families come together to have a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. The family friendly Miners Arms is 400 yards away with other superb pubs and restaurants within 3 miles.

Excellent walking country, horse riding, clay shooting, cycle hire and golf are available, with Carsington Water providing facilities for sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and fishing. Whatever you want Derbyshire can offer a wide range of indoor or outdoor pursuits!
