Waters Edge sits on the coastal path and is located a stones throw from the Solents water front close to the Victorian gun battery at Fort Victoria and is just ten minutes walk along the beach from the historic harbour town of Yarmouth. Yarmouth boasts a host of interests. This historic port sits at the mouth of the River Yar and contains some of the oldest architecture on the Island including a 16th century castle which flanks its northern boundary.

The town is home to a fine combination of restaurants, cafes and pubs, some of which are quite unique in character. All can be accessed from a pleasant ten minute walk along the beach or a short easy journey in your car. The Isle of Wight is home to a diverse and interesting coastline encompassing many areas of outstanding natural beauty and SSSI's (Sites of Special Scientific Interest) What better way to unwind than to step back into that forgotten time where the pace is slow, the people are friendly and where you will be made to feel most welcome. The charm of this small Island serves as an irresistible attraction that brings visitors back time after time. From this well positioned location the rest of the Island can be easily accessed.

Close by you will find unspoiled beaches at Compton, Freshwater Bay, Colwell and Totland and adventurous coastal walks can take you all the way to the Needles and Old Battery or along the disused railway track along the rivers edge across the Island to Freshwater Bay. For the more adventurous walker you can follow the coastal path right around the Island and take in the beauty of the Island in its entirety.
