Little Garth, Normanby offers self catering accommodation is a quintessential old English cottage with roses round the door circa 1855, restored in 2007. It has some low ceilings and doorways so watch your head.
The cottage accommodates five people, 1 double room with kingsize bed, 1 double room with twin beds and 1 single bedroom. There is a cot and high chair available on request. The bathroom has a bath with shower over.
The cottage is centrally heated and the cozy parlour has an old Yorkshire Range - a starter basket of logs and coal is provided. There is also a TV and DVD player and WiFi but the reception for mobile phones is not brilliant. There is an enclosed garden at the front and back and an outdoor seating area.
Dogs are welcome. The cottage is no smoking. The fully fitted kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven and fridge-freezer. Off road parking for 3 cars.
Booking is Friday to Friday - arrival 3pm, departure 10am.
Little Garth is situated in the village of Normanby opposite the church in open farmland, ten miles north of the market town of Malton in the Vale of York.
The village lies less than 6 miles south of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and has easy access to the moors and coast. The village has a dog friendly pub a five minute walk from the cottage, serving evening meals and Sunday lunch.
