The lounge features traditional beamed ceilings, a wood burning stove and comfortable leather sofas and chairs, with SAT TV & DVD player. There is WiFi available throughout the cottage.
The fully fitted country kitchen has its original beams and is equipped with all the self catering essentials. There is a spacious dining room with a wood fire and a utility room with laundry facilities.
Five bedrooms and four bathrooms make this a great destination for families and groups. The ground floor bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite WC/shower room. The room is accessed via two steps down from the lounge and has its own French doors leading onto a back patio and the side access gate.
The first floor houses a further four bedrooms. The first bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite WC/shower. The family room has a king size bed and a day bed with trundle (same as two singles), Sat TV and it has en-suite shower, WC and bath. The third bedroom which has a king size bed which shares a large family bathroom (with bath, shower, bidet and WC) with the fourth bedroom which is a single room.
Rose Cottage has a large enclosed. Garden with a south facing patio area. There is outdoor seating and a BBQ (utensils provided).
There is ample parking for four cars, three to the side of the cottage as well as parking available on the main driveway for one car. There are views from the back over the moors and at the front over the village of Goathland.

Rose Cottage is located in the village of Goathland, famous for its Heartbeat and Harry Potter connections it is a Grade II listed gem with wood burning stoves, original features and an enclosed cottage garden.
The cottage itself is just a short stroll away from the steam railway station, the village shops and tea rooms and there are three pubs within ten minutes walk which all offer evening meals. There is an enclosed garden around the cottage, a patio area with outdoor seating and a BBQ for the summer months. There is ample parking to the side of the cottage.
