Holiday Home Loch Ness - Cartref House is centrally located with only a short stroll from Loch Ness and the main hub of the popular village of Fort Augustus in the Scottish Highlands with its unique shops, cafe's, pubs and restaurants.

The famous Caledonian Canal & iconic Loch Ness are both within a short walk of the house. An ideal base for a holiday with historical castles & landmarks only a drive away.

Golf, bike hire, walking, Cruise Loch Ness, water sports & tennis can all be found locally and seasonal ski-ing & mountain sports are also available nearby.

There are many local walks from the doorstep at Cartref which enables our Guests to explore the area and take advantage of the magnificent Highland scenery, including the Loch Ness 360.

A car is needed for day trips to get out and about and enjoy the beautiful area to its fullest.

Bikes can be hired locally and there is a handy local bus stop to either Fort William or Inverness nearby.

The nearest train station can be found at Spean Bridge for the West Coast line. Inverness Airport is approximately a 1 hours drive from Cartref.
