Cluer Cottage offers self catering accommodation set in a peaceful secluded cove on the rugged and rocky east coast of the Isle of Harris with sea views towards the Isle of Skye.
Providing 4 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a downstairs toilet/shower room. South facing. Sun on the patio all day, sunsets over the hills in the evening. Everything you need for a comfortable stay: Sky TV, internet and WiFi, telephone, open fire, electric heating, fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. Equally suitable for couples or family groups.
Dogs are welcome by arrangement if kept downstairs. There are sheep on the croft but if the dogs do not worry them then they will be able to enjoy the freedom to run around on the croft and sleep well at night!
Clue Cottage is the ideal starting point for exploring the island. The cottage is only 15 minutes drive from Tarbert, and 15 minutes from the sandy West Coast beaches.
Hill-walking, amazing wildlife, gorgeous unspoiled sandy beaches within a short drive.
Tarbert has two grocery shops including a butcher and off-licence, a filling station, post office, tea rooms. Good food at The Hebrides Hotel and The Harris Hotel, both licensed premises. Fish and Chip shop in Main Street, open at peak times.
The Tourist Information Centre is conveniently situated in the village car park if you need help planning your visits. We have a selection of information pamphlets in the house for you to peruse at your leisure.
