A modern and private space comprising a bedroom area, en-suite with rain drench shower and a sitting room.

The bedroom has a king size bed, reading lights, a wall mounted Freeview TV, a bedside Ipod dock and a hairdryer. There is plenty of storage space.

The en-suite is stocked with 'Basic Earth' toiletries, waffle bathrobes and large bath towels.

The sitting area has a comfortable leather sofa, a television with all Sky TV channels, ample sockets with USB for charging your phone or computer, a small dinning table where breakfast is served in the privacy of your room, and views over the garden and Loch Dunvegan.

Soft luxurious sheepskin rugs from Skyeskyns cover the wooden floors and soft furnishings from Skye Batiks reflect the colours of Skye. There is a plentiful supply of coffee and tea and fresh milk in your fridge.

If you are an early riser there are magnificent sunrises to be seen over the Loch and often deer on the grass just outside your window. The occasional eagle flies overhead and the resident buzzard may watch you from his post. Wi-Fi is available, although it is very slow and can be weather dependant as we are the last house from the exchange.

A spacious dual aspect room with side views to the Outer Isles over Loch Dunvegan. The front sloping window offers views of the loch during the day, colourful sunrises in the early morning and the stars at night. Herons fly across the window to their roost and seals can be spotted on the loch.

The room has a king size bed with excelsior mattress, plump anti-allergen duvets and pillows with luxury cotton bedding.

The en-suite bathroom has a bath with shower over, toiletries, bathrobes, slippers and large bath towels are provided for your comfort.

A TV, DVD player, ipod dock, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities, with unlimited supplies are all standard features.

There are ironing facilities and an umbrella for your use, also available to borrow are binoculars and walking canes.

Bed and breakfast can be arranged in SILVERDALE COTTAGE, subject to a three night minimum stay. They will supply you with all the ingredients for a light breakfast.
Silverdale Bed and Breakast is beautifully situated amidst stunning scenery on the Durinish Peninsula, Silverdale is just a wee bit up from the shores of Loch Dunvegan.

With Macleod's Tables to the rear, views of the Cuillin Mountains to the south, and uninterrupted views northwards to the Outer Isles, this is a spectacular and peaceful spot.

5 miles east of historic Dunvegan Castle and just a few miles west is dramatic Neist Point, the most westerly point on the island with its vertical cliffs and walk to the lighthouse.

Just down the road is the world famous Three Chimneys Restaurant. Ranked amongst the world's best, it is a mere 8 minutes walk away.

For the wildlife enthusiast, there are regular sightings of dolphins, otters and sometimes whales. Seabirds are abundant, golden eagles and sea eagles are regularly recorded in the area. The small islands just off the shore at Skinidin are home to a colony of seals.
