The campsite is surrounded on three sides by trees and is adjacent to the river that feeds Tal-y-llyn lake. The Cader Idris National Nature Reserve is next door.

Dol Einon has four electric hook ups available with hard standing pitches. A further twenty grass pitches are available for tents and motorhomes.

Drinking water, toilets, showers and an emptying tank for caravans and motorhomes can be found at the farmhouse.

Experience the night sky in a totally different light. Dol Einion is the perfect spot for star-gazers of all ages when the sky is clear overhead.
Dol Einion Campsite is a 3 acre green field site with some hardcore standing and electric hook-ups. Easy access from the B4405 road, just off the A487, next gate down from the Cader Idris National Nature Reserve car park.

You can reach the Minffordd Path by means of the stile in the corner of the camping field. The path takes you to the summit of Pen-y-gader via Llyn Cau for spectacular views.

There are a number of options for dining in the district, some within walking distance.

As well as Dol Idris park next door, ideal for dog walkers, there are beaches at Tywyn, Aberdovey and Barmouth, mountain biking at Coed-y-Brenin and Dyfi Valley, steam trains on the Tal-y-llyn and Corris lines, water sports at Bala, and other attractions such as Corris Craft Centre, King Arthur's Labyrinth and the Centre for Alternative Technology.

As well as access for the Minffordd Path to the summit of Cader Idris, visitors can reach Tal-y-llyn lake, Llanfiangel-y-pennant church, Castell-y-Bere, Mary Jones Cottage and the top of the A487 mountain pass by off-road byways, with routes suitable for walkers and mountain bikers.
