Peaceful riverside holidays beside the beautiful River Great Ouse
Quiet Waters Static Holiday Park offers peaceful riverside holidays beside the beautiful River Great Ouse.

Quiet Waters Static Holiday Park is a long-established, family-run holiday park enjoying a tranquil five-acre setting on the banks of the River Great Ouse. In the same family for more than 70 years and now run by Linda Coulson, granddaughter of the original owner, and her husband Tony, the park combines traditional hospitality with a wonderfully peaceful waterside location. Easily reached from the A1307 between Huntingdon and Cambridge, it is an ideal choice for relaxing holidays, fishing breaks and countryside escapes.

The park offers comfortable six-berth static holiday caravans, each with two separate bedrooms plus additional sleeping space in the lounge. Guests can choose from caravans positioned directly beside the River Great Ouse with uninterrupted waterside views or those enjoying attractive views across the park. Each caravan includes its own toilet and shower facilities, gas cooking, heating throughout, fridge, microwave, television and a good selection of cooking and dining equipment. Complimentary WiFi is also provided. Pillows and blankets are supplied, while guests should bring their own bed sheets and towels.

Life at Quiet Waters is all about making the most of its beautiful riverside surroundings. The park has its own exclusive stretch of river for private fishing, with the statutory closed fishing season applying from 16 March to 16 June. Boat moorings and boating facilities are also available, including rowing boats for hire directly from the park. Country walks and cycling routes can be enjoyed from the doorstep, making this an excellent destination for anyone who loves spending time outdoors.

Facilities are maintained to a high standard and include excellent toilets and showers together with a coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer. Dogs are welcome, with a maximum of one dog per booking and charges applying, although dogs must be kept on leads and exercised off the park. The caravans are non-smoking, and guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Touring caravans, motorhomes and seasonal touring pitches are also accommodated at Quiet Waters.

Whether you prefer spending your days fishing beside the Great Ouse, taking to the water, exploring the surrounding countryside or simply sitting back and enjoying the peaceful riverside setting, Quiet Waters provides a welcoming base for a relaxing Cambridgeshire break.
