Long Barn Holiday Cottages offers four beautifully converted self catering cottages in the peaceful rural hamlet of North Whilborough near Newton Abbot. Created from traditional stone farm buildings, the cottages retain original features including exposed beams and antique pine and flagstone floors while providing comfortable, spacious accommodation.
Long Barn Cottage sleeps 13 plus cots, Hameldown Cottage sleeps 8 plus cots, Huccaby Cottage sleeps 6 plus cots and Honeybag Cottage provides a romantic retreat for two plus a cot. Each cottage has its own private garden or terrace, and dogs are welcome.
Guests share a superb 10m indoor heated swimming pool, with an hourly booking system allowing private use, along with changing rooms, showers and toilets. Families are particularly well catered for with an indoor play area featuring a two-storey playhouse, pool table, table tennis and table football, plus an outdoor adventure play area.
Four acres of grounds provide plenty of additional space for children to play, while cottages have garden furniture and barbecues. Cots, bed bars and high chairs are available on request, dog beds, bowls and treats are provided for canine guests, and there is parking for up to 20 cars.
