May Cottage is a quiet and delightful two-bedroom cottage providing luxury self-catering holiday accommodation for up to 4 people.

All the accommodation is on the ground floor level, which makes it particularly helpful for older guests.

As a 5 Star Gold Award luxury holiday property, the cottage is beautifully furnished and equipped to the highest standard. Our guests receive a special welcome hamper and there are discounts for the retired and for regular guests.

In the heart of the beautiful Cotswolds and within a few minutes' walk of the centre of Stow-on-the-Wold, May Cottage, which is adjacent to a Grade II Listed building, is built of honey-coloured Cotswold stone, has lovely arched Gothic windows.

There is a large living room with a log fire, a conservatory, master bedroom with king-size bed with and access to en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, separate bath and under floor heating.
The second bedroom, on the ground floor like the rest of the cottage, has twin beds and has separate access to the bathroom.
The fitted kitchen has everything you might want and is finished with granite worktops and travertine flooring.
The cottage is very light and peaceful, and warmed both by central heating and an open log fire.

May Cottage enjoys an especially quiet Cotswolds location close to Stow, set back from the road in landscaped gardens. The living room and conservatory open onto a private patio with table and chairs and enclosed by pretty Cotswold walls.

There is off-road parking for two cars and complimentary Wi-Fi, Sky Q TV with access to Sky Sports and internet services such as Netflix. The cottage is a non-smoking establishment. The cottage is only a few minutes' walk to the centre of Stow and its many shops, pubs and restaurants.

May Cottage can be found a short distance from the centre of Stow-on-the-Wold on Oddington Road.

Stow-on-the-Wold is a small, historic market town - the epitome of the Cotswold kind, with interesting shops, first class restaurants, brasseries, small coffee shops and old pubs. These include the oldest Inn in England, clustered around the ancient market square with its stocks and many fascinating old buildings and alleyways.

Although it has a large modern supermarket, it also has excellent delicatessens, butcher, baker and organic shops. Best known for its many antique shops and art galleries, there are many lovely gift shops. All are within 2-4 minutes of May Cottage.

Stow is very well connected, being 80 mins by train to London Paddington from Kingham Station which is only 5 miles away, less than an hour from Birmingham and 90 mins from London Heathrow Airport by car.

It has a good range of public transport and is only 20 mins by car from Shakespeare's Stratford, 25 mins from the elegant Regency Spa town of Cheltenham, 30mins from Oxford and 60 mins from Bristol, Bath and Wales.

Warwick castle and Blenheim palace, together with numerous National Trust properties are within easy reach. Closer to hand, Stow is a few minutes' drive from the most famous Cotswold villages such as the Slaughters, the Swells, Bourton-on-the-Water and the famous Tuesday market at Moreton-in-Marsh.
