Both the large living room and the well equipped kitchen/diner have views looking out beyond the village to the countryside. Full of historic character with beams and exposed stone, there is also good WiFi and a smart TV. There is a romantic 4 poster bedroom with large sash window, and a smaller Blue and White room which can be single, small twin or single with child's cot. This is an unspoilt, undiscovered area to explore. A perfect base to visit characterful border towns such as Hay on Wye, Hereford, Leominster and Ludlow. Follow the Black and White Village Trail or the Herefordshire Cider Trail, both of which go through the village.

This is a wonderful walking area with Offas Dyke footpath, The Herefordshire Trail, and The Wye Valley Walk, and off the beaten track footpaths. There are quiet lanes to cycle and open moorland for pony trekking. In Spring and early Summer our many nearby nature reserves are at their best. The renowned Hay Festival is at the end of May. Enjoy Summer village fetes, local shows and food markets. Autumn brings H Art across Herefordshire and Kington and Hay both have walking festivals.
