Moat House is located within a conservation area and one of the most popular areas of north Norfolk, the detached cottage lies within the beautiful grounds of Hindringham Hall. The perfect place to relax and unwind, yet, ideally situated to access all that Norfolk has to offer.
The beaches and salt marshes of the north Norfolk Coast are just a 10 minute drive away with excellent walking along the coastal path and boat trips to view the seals from Blakeney Quay or Morston Harbour.
Equidistant (seven miles) from the Georgian market town of Holt (popular for shopping), Fakenham (Thursday market day) and the bustling port of Wells with its picturesque quay.
There is a wealth of RSPB reserves to visit and the traditional seaside towns of Cromer and Sheringham offer evening entertainment, Golf Courses, a Splash Centre and horse riding.
There is a steam railway at Holt (to Sheringham) and a light railway at Walsingham (to Wells).
Five stately homes open to the public are within a 30 minute drive and the remains of the ancient monasteries at Binham and Walsingham are just five minutes away.
