Bourne End House is set in its own grounds, on the private estate of Primrose Valley, close to the seaside town of Filey and sleeps up to 16 guests.

This imposing detached former 'gentleman's residence' boasts many original features with beautiful parquet flooring, original stained glass windows, high ceilings with original cornice work and spacious rooms to lose yourself in. The lawned and landscaped gardens are complemented with a hot tub and seating area with a brick built barbeque.

Ground floor - 2 lounges, dining room, kitchen, conservatory, bar, bedroom, wetroom, toilet, hot tub, children's play area, large garden, parking.

The ground floor is made up of 8 rooms. Two of these are spacious lounges with original parquet flooring. One living room has a log burning stove (logs and sticks for the first light will be provided). The bright and airy conservatory leads off one of the living rooms and is an ideal place to relax and look out over the landscaped gardens. The large kitchen/dining room makes an excellent place for you all to get together for breakfast and plan your day. The dining room showcases a Victorian range and a selection on indoor and outdoor games in a cupboard. The kitchen is fully equipped with a range cooker, American style fridge freezer, washer, dryer, microwave, toast machine, dishwasher, 2x kettles. Cutlery, crockery, pans and utensils are all supplied. Tea towels, oven gloves and washing up essentials are provided along with a handful of washing machine and dishwasher tablets.

On nice evenings you can sit outside on the seating area and enjoy a barbeque (no fuel provided), whilst keeping the children entertained in the garden, or for adults enjoying the hot tub. Alternatively, you can spend an evening watching TV in your exclusive traditional English Pub which has a pool table, darts board, Sky TV including Sky Sports. You are able to order kegs to pull your own pints throughout your stay! The bar is accessed via the kitchen and is in a one story building.

On the ground floor there is a disabled friendly double room with a wet room shower and toilet. There is also a separate toilet on the ground floor and level access into the property and gardens.

First floor - 2 double bedrooms , 1 triple bedroom, 2 baths, 1 shower, 3 toilets.

The first floor comprises of 2 double and one triple room. All the bedrooms are bright and airy with plenty of space. One double is a 5ft sleigh bed, the second double has an en-suite bathroom with roll top bath, basin and toilet and third has three single beds. There is a bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath, basin and toilet. There is also a shower room and a separate toilet on this floor.

Second floor - 1 double bedroom, 1 triple bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, 2 showers, 2 toilets.

The second floor has one double room, one triple room (three single beds) and one twin room. There are two shower rooms with toilets on this floor. Bed linen and towels are also provided. Linen and towels are not changed during a weekly stay. A travel cot and high chair can be requested but you will need to provide your own linen for the travel cot. 8 Hot tub towels are also provided.

The property has central heating and free Wi-Fi throughout. Bourne End House offers ample parking outside. A welcome pack awaits you on arrival. Up to 2 dogs are welcome but we ask that they remain on the ground floor at all times, and are not left in the property unattended. Charges are £50 per dog.

This is a no smoking property.

Wander through the quiet estate to the stunning 5-mile stretch of almost deserted beach for a family day to remember. Primrose Valley is home to an 18-hole golf course and has a contemporary pub serving delicious English cuisine within a short stroll of the front door.
