Dolphin Cottage

Dolphin Cottage in Findhorn

Romantic Cottage in a picturesque seaside village
Dolphin Cottage located in the seaside village of Findhorn offers self catering accommodation for 2 guests.

This Cottage was once a traditional Fisherman's Cottage - one of the oldest Cottages in Findhorn. It has been transformed into a sunny, bright and enchanting holiday home.

The romantic one-bedroom Cottage has a stunning open-plan design with whitewashed beams and high ceilings. It is decorated and equipped throughout to a very high standard, using Fired Earth paints, Jim Lawrence wall lights and curtains made of Mulberry and Zoffany fabric.

Panasonic TV, DVD and an Emma Bridgewater DAB radio plus a section of books and board-games will keep you entertained. Oak floors and the two Chesney's wood burning stoves (one in the bedroom) add character and comfort.

The living area is flooded with light through the roof windows, double glazed sash-windows and the fully glazed double-doors to the private back garden.

Enjoy cooking in the stone-coloured oak kitchen with it's Belfast sink and wooden worktops. It is fully equipped with a range-style electric cooker, extractor hood, build-in dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and a Nescafe Doce Gusto Coffeemaker.

Retire to the bedroom, maybe light a fire in the wood burner and snuggle in the comfy cotton duvets of the king size bed (orthopaedic mattress)... or have a relaxing hot bath - the LED downlights are dimmable to make you feel comfortable.

The central heating will keep you cosy, no matter what time of the year you choose to take your holiday.

Dogs are very welcome at Dolphin Cottage.

Dolphin Cottage won the Master Builder Award 2017: prize for the best heritage project at the FMB (Federation of Master Builders) Scotland.
