This unique location was created by the Forestry Commission as a place of tranquility, amid outstanding scenery. In addition to the peace and quiet of the log cabin locations the surrounding area provides an amazing natural playground. There are forests, burns, rivers, castles, mountains and lochs to explore and enjoy. The area has a proliferation of walks, cycle routes and local attractions and is a world renowned destination for anglers.

Wildlife-watching available at Dalavich is as good as it gets in the UK. Pine Marten and Red Squirrel are common and Osprey nest nearby. You can also see Golden Eagle and Sea Eagle, Red, Roe and Sikka Deer and an unparalleled amount of bird life.
