Rhumhor House is steeped in history giving it distinctive character balanced with tasteful interior. Five comfortable bedrooms sleep up to 9 people (cot bed available) and dogs are permitted on request. The house features a huge family room where family and friends can gather, fairy tale turrets and beach side lawn all of which make it truly unique. The house has five bedrooms offering very comfortable accommodation. There are bedrooms for every generation, with our ground floor four poster bedroom (king sized bed), a first floor double, first floor double room, twin room and single room. All are beautifully furnished and have lovely views. The linen and towels are of the highest quality and the beds are extremely comfortable, all giving a real sense of home from home. The spacious rooms are superbly decorated and offer stunning views of Loch Goil and the sensational mountain scenery of Argyll. You will also enjoy luxury toiletries with compliments of the owners.

If you need to check your emails or stay in touch with news from the outside world then log onto the free WiFi. You can wander out to the front of the house and cross a quiet single track road to Rhumhors lochside lawn. When the tide is low you will find a mussel field and see a variety of sea creatures and shells.

Single bedroom with turret window (this is a lovely quirky room that has a step down door onto the stairs so it is not suitable for young children or anyone with mobility difficulties). Family bathroom with bath, shower over bath. Half landing reading area with 8ft picture windows giving exceptional hill and mountain views

Just over an hour from Glasgow airport, the famous Loch Lomond is a short drive away. So too is the drive north to Oban and the gateway to many of the West Highland islands. This is the ideal base for exploring the many attractions this wonderful part of Scotland has to offer. There is, without doubt, something for everyone at Rhumhor House.
