Tucked away in the remote and rolling Scottish countryside, Woodmill Arches is a designer barn conversion for two in the heart of beautiful Lindores in North-East Fife. Once you're in the door there is no one to bother you, the sense of peace and space is instantly relaxing and your whole stay becomes a very unique and special experience.

Incredibly spacious, superbly comfortable and stylishly contemporary with masses of natural light, Woodmill Arches is a wonderful haven for golfers, cyclists, walkers, wedding guests and weekenders wanting somewhere a bit different to stay.

Accommodation comprises a wide hall with a staircase up to a light and airy living area, a large, high-ceilinged bedroom and a bright modern bathroom. Along with top quality fittings throughout and a biomass heating system, there's a huge television, an 8-speaker Bluetooth sound system and a deliciously bouncy carpet to pad about on - all for your own private use.

As you arrive, a large, tiled, gallery-style hall with a wood burning stove provides plenty of room to leave boots, bikes, golf clubs and countryside clothing before you head upstairs to the main living space.

On the first floor the bright open plan sitting and dining area has a fabulous arched window to the west which sunshine streams through in the summer evenings, ideal for enjoying a relaxing drink at the end of the day.

There is a micro-kitchen contained in a small alcove which has a kettle, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, slow cooker, fridge and sink. The kitchen area is stocked with complimentary fresh and instant coffee, teas, sugar, mini milks and butters, lovely local oatcakes and home made jam.

There is also a funky Morso barbecue in the little seating area outside. We are happy to provide a home-made casserole on request that you can simply warm up for a delicious evening meal, and we also have a great range of sausages and burgers for the BBQ - see www.woodmillgame.co.uk.

In the large and striking bedroom the super king bed can convert to two singles. The modern bathroom has a rain shower, stylish black fittings and underfloor heating. Linen and towels are provided along with toiletries.

Throughout the property lighting is a key feature and there is added interest from artworks that have been installed by the owner, Clare Wade. Clare is a professional Lighting Consultant at Cat Lighting and she will be pleased to tell you about the lighting effects around the property which doubles as her lighting showroom.
