Kildonan House was built around 1900 by 'Kenny the Drover' Great Grandfather of the owner, whose father's family originated from Isle Martin, near Ardmair.

This spectacular holiday home has had a second refurbishment, which includes 2 new shower rooms, addition of extra windows in the upper floor bedrooms and a beautiful garden room complete with hot tub.

Furnished and equipped to a high standard and tastefully decorated, contemporary beds and classic linen make this an ideal retreat for groups, friends and family holidays or those who require spacious surroundings. It's a great base for friends who may come to climb the many Munros and Corbett's nearby.

Kildonan House sits comfortably in leafy Market Street, Ullapool. The wide tree-lined quiet street with pavements and grassed house fronts give the area a feeling of village park. In spring when the trees are in blossom the street is quite spectacular.

With three windows facing the garden the well-appointed kitchen is a spacious, light room. Extremely well equipped with a dining table that can seat 8 persons, this area provides an excellent space for food preparation and dining.

The light-filled sitting room with corner sofa and armchair ensures a relaxed place after a day exploring. Whether you are watching TV, reading books or planning the next day, this is the place to do it! A second reception room 'The Den' has a mix of old and new furniture which blends well and adds to the charm. With DVD player maybe it's a place for younger members of the family to have their own space.

On the first floor are two king size bedrooms, and one floor up looking over Ullapool, are two well-appointed attic rooms, both with twin beds.

For guests' convenience there are three bathrooms. A ground floor spacious family bathroom with bath and electric shower and two beautiful shower rooms on the first floor and the top floor.

The kitchen door to garden takes you to the garden room and offers a practical and stylish spot for alfresco dining, here you will also find a luxury hot tub for your enjoyment and relaxation.

The enclosed garden area with seating is a great place for sun worshippers with grassed area and flower beds. What better place to spend the long summer evenings? A lockable garden gate ensures a safe area for children or dogs.
