The Long House in Kintra is an ideal self catering holiday home for families, or for one or two couples, up to a maximum of six people in all.
Of the two original croft houses, one provides a comfortable living area and a well-equipped kitchen and the other contains a shower room with toilet, washbasin and heated floor, a double bedded room and a family room which contains two full sized single beds with a narrower built in sleeping shelf above for two children. Each bed has its own reading lamp.

The Long House commands a central position in Kintra village, above the sea wall and 10 yards from the high tide mark.
Kintra is an old fishing and crofting community in a peaceful sheltered bay on the northwest tip of the Ross of Mull. It overlooks the sound of Iona and is, at low tide, a mass of rock pools and the haunt of small crabs, sea urchins, sea anemones and shellfish. It affords a safe anchorage for those who wish to bring a boat and is ideal for canoeists, with sheltered rocky islets on the Mull side of the Sound of Iona. Oystercatchers and gulls nest round the bay with herons on an island just off the coast.
