Granary Cottage, Llandrindod Wells, has been converted to a high standard, retains its character whilst providing modern self catering facilities for up to 4 guests and 2 well-behaved dogs.

The property is furnished with a mixture of modern and old to give guests comfortable, stylish and relaxing accommodation and benefits from full central heating.

Open hallway and stairs, spacious well-lit kitchen/dining room, well equipped with oven, hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine. There is a good range of crockery, glass, cutlery and cooking pans and utensils.
The dining area has a pine dining table with light over. A comfortable and light sitting room, with a large comfortable sofa and armchairs, colour TV, Freeview and DVD player, CD player/radio and plenty of books and games.
Lighting is versatile and allows for atmospheric soft lighting as well as good direct light for reading. A large window has stunning views over the hills of Mid Wales.

Two en-suite bedrooms. On the ground floor a double bedded room with fitted wardrobe and shelving, dressing table with large mirror, magnifying mirror and overhead lights. En-suite bathroom with walk in shower and bath, shaver point and light over mirror. Upstairs a twin bedded room with fitted wardrobe and chest of drawers, dressing table with large mirror, magnifying mirror and overhead lights. En-suite bathroom with bath and shower attachment. Shaver point and light over mirror.

Free WiFi. Well behaved dogs are welcome. (max 2 - first is free, 2nd GBP10).

Outside the cottage is a small terrace that catches the morning sun. A separate lawned garden with table and chairs has wonderful views.

Granary Cottage at Ty Gwyn Farm is in a beautiful location in rural Radnorshire on the edge of the Cambrian Mountains. As you drive down the very quiet lane, a vast panorama of hills spread out before you.

At the cottage there is a total peace and quiet with dark skies. Guests are welcome to walk around the farm or take one of the footpaths or bridleways that offer good walking with panoramic views. There are various long distance paths in the area. Different times of year bring different things to see, in spring the wildflowers and the May blossom, in summer early morning mists often lie in the valleys below, in autumn the trees turn to red and gold and berries are on the hedgerows, in winter, frosts on bare trees and yes occasionally it does rain!

At Granary Cottage you could be miles from anywhere but only 2.5 miles down the hill is the pretty Victorian Spa town of Llandrindod Wells built to accommodate visitors taking the spa waters. Llandrindod Wells still retains its magnificent buildings many of which surround the Temple Gardens. Within the town there are supermarkets, local food shops, a Victorian theatre, gift shops, coffee shops and restaurants. The 13 acre lake is a particular feature with a magnificent dragon fountain in the middle. The Elan Valley, an area of outstanding scenic beauty is a short drive away, Brecon and the Beacons are to the south, Hereford and The Marches border Granary Cottage on the east and to the west is Aberystwyth and the Sea.

Nearby places to visit include, The Elan Valley an area of outstanding scenic beauty with magnificent dams, Abbey Cwm Hir Hall, the Red Kite Feeding Centre, Welsh Royal Crystal, the Judges Lodging, and Hay on Wye, home to the International Hay Literary Festival. The small towns of Builth Wells, Knighton, Kington and Presteigne are all within easy reach. There are several gardens to visit, including the renowned Hergest Croft Gardens. Brecon and the Beacons are to the south, Hereford and The Marches border on the east and to the west is Aberystwyth and the Sea.
