West Ord Cottages, Berwick Upon Tweed offer comfortable self catering cottages by the banks of the River Tweed.

Free Wifi in every cottage.

Garden furniture and barbeques available at all the cottages.
Bed linen is supplied in all the cottages and each bed has a duvet and two pillows per person.
Bath and hand towels are provided in all the cottages, and consist of one each per person booked to stay, along with bath mats. Hairdryers are provided in each cottage. Tea towels, dish cloths, toilet rolls and cleaning agents are provided in all the cottages.

Cots and high chairs are available on request. Please bring your own cot bedding.

Log fires are available in all the cottages from October to the end of April this is inclusive of the rental. At other times a charge will be made for logs.

Electricity: the first £10 (£20 in Shepherds Cottage) of electricity is included in the rental. Anything over that will be charged for at the end of the stay.

Pets: One well-behaved dog is welcome in each of Eden, Till, Tweed and Shepherds Cottages at the owner's discretion. The dog may not be left unattended in the property, allowed on the furniture or in the bedroom. Guests are respectfully asked to exercise their dogs away from the back lawns and cut roadside verges. There is a charge of £20 for a dog.

Smoking is not permitted inside any of our cottages.

Television: Each cottage is equipped with a LCD flat screen TV and DVD player. There are also CD/ radio players in each cottage. DVDs are freely available from the farmhouse.

Groceries: An order can be taken and placed in your cottage for your arrival.
West Ord is a 470 acre farm with six superb self catering holiday cottages, located in an idyllic setting on the banks of the River Tweed, just three miles west of the historic town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, in Northumberland.

From your front door there are fantastic riverside walks, with a myriad wildlife, otters, badgers, deer, oyster catchers, geese, swans and all a vast array of smaller song birds. Within ten minutes drive of our cosy cottages, you can have access to miles of stunning sandy Northumbrian beaches, Cocklawburn Beach is on our doorstep, The Holy Island of Lindisfarne a ten minute drive, Bamburgh and the Farne Islands half an hours drive away and to the north of Berwick-upon-Tweed the fabulous rocky cliffs and promontories that are St.Abb's Head, Coldingham Bay and Eyemouth. We have many Castles and stately homes in our locality, an area steeped in history with battle fields and tales of bravery, savagery and romance!

West Ord Farm is about 4 miles west of historic Berwick upon Tweed, the farm sits on the banks of the River Tweed, we are 5 mins drive from the A1 and just off the A698 Coldstream road. Near to fantastic beaches on the Northumberland coast, and also the rocky headlands and promontories of the Berwickshire coast. Close to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, the Cheviot Hills and National Park.
