Lowther Holiday Park is the perfect holiday retreat for anyone looking to explore the Lake District or simply relax and take in the surroundings which include the famous River Lowther.

The park is a 5 star rated campsite from the British Graded Holiday Parks, AA rated 5 pennants and holds the David Bellamy Gold Award. Lowther is also a member of the BH & HPA and The Penrith & District Red Squirrel Group.

When you stay with us, you have several different types of accommodation to choose from for your Penrith Holidays, including Camping Pods, Holiday Home Hire and touring pitches.

Lowther Holiday Park is the ideal base for your touring caravan or motor home, with easy access to the M6 and there are plenty of fantastic days out locally.

Our facilities are perfect for whole families, couples, small groups, and even four-legged pets - we wouldn't want you to leave the furry ones behind (there's a small extra charge).

Our exclusive seasonal touring pitches are located on the South Westerly area of the park, come in various sizes and are typically 1300 square foot, big enough for most touring caravans or motorhomes.

The pitches all have modern electric hook up points (currently smart meters), there's two modern toilet blocks within a 5 minute walk if needed. Lowther seasonal touring pitches are 12 months tenancy. This means 9 months holiday season and 3 months winter storage (where your caravan stays on your pitch).

Our holiday season is 1st March through to 30th November, with 1st Dec to 28th Feb winter sotrage, which is included in your pitch fee.

Lowther Holiday Park is predominately luxury lodges and holiday homes. We have a limited number of exclusive seasonal touring pitches, along with a small accessible touring caravan and camping field.
