Eastern Lee is a luxury chalet bungalow perched above the village of Wellow in the West Wight countryside, set within a secluded garden with fields surrounding the house on two sides. With peaceful country views, easy access to walks and long distance trails, and a choice of beaches within easy reach, it is an ideal base for relaxing island breaks.

Originally built in 1931 and extended and refurbished to luxury standards in 2008, Eastern Lee offers four bedrooms and three bath or shower rooms, with accessibility features that can suit guests with reduced mobility. Geothermal heating and environmentally friendly technology also support a "green" holiday in a quiet rural setting.

The house is well designed for social stays, with a spacious living and dining kitchen area, plus a sun lounge linking the garden to the main living space. The kitchen is very well equipped with electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge, toaster and coffee maker, with dishwasher, freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer in the utility room. The dining area seats 8 to 10, while the living area includes comfortable seating, TV with Freeview, DVD player and radio CD player.

On the ground floor, there is a double bedroom with French windows opening to the south facing patio, plus a front twin bedroom that can accommodate an extra guest bed. A family bathroom includes a walk in thermostatic shower. Upstairs, the master bedroom enjoys wide country views and a 6 foot double bed that can be unzipped into twin divans, with a free-standing double-ended bath and shower over, plus en suite cloakroom. The upstairs twin room has an extra small guest bed for occasional use and an en suite shower room.

Outside, enjoy a front veranda with views over the village and a peaceful, private south facing back garden with a barbecue for warm evenings. The village green is around 50 metres away with a fitness track and play area. Beds are made up ready for arrival, with bed linen, towels, heating and electricity included, and cot and high chair available at no charge. Well behaved pets are welcome by arrangement (fees apply).
