Holbeck House is an attractive five bedroomed period semi-detached property, situated in a pretty part of the South Cliff in the popular seaside town of Scarborough.
It is close to the seafront with the beautiful Italian Gardens sloping down to the Spa complex and the South Bay with its long sandy beach. Another small unspoilt natural beach is very close to the house.
The property is an easy walk to the town centre taking around 20 minutes, you can walk down the esplanade whilst being treated to some beautiful views across south bay, you then walk across the Spa bridge into town or you can get the Victorian cliff lift down to the south bay. In the town centre and close to the house you will find an attractive choice of restaurants, bars, pubs and shops.
Scarborough is an all year round destination, with its busy fishing harbour and marina a hub of excitement whatever the weather. Scarborough Castle is set in a stunning location and offers visitors panoramic views over the dramatic coastline. The 2,500-year old building is a must see for anyone visiting the area, and a wonderful day out for everyone.
There's so much to see and do during the day in this lovely seaside town, with its beautiful sandy beaches but also plenty of places to relax and unwind in the evening, including many bars and eateries along the seafront. The famous Stephen Joseph Theatre often previews new works by Alan Aykbourne as well as hosting national touring productions. Many holidaymakers visit Peasholm Park, the Open Air Theatre and the Sea-Life Centre.
