Mallard Cottage is a charming two-bedroom holiday cottage in the peaceful hamlet of Esk Valley, surrounded by the "Heartbeat" countryside. Sleeping up to 4 guests, it has a double bedroom with pine four-poster bed and a second with adult-sized bunk beds, making it ideal for families or friends.

The cottage has a large, well-equipped kitchen with all modern appliances, a lounge/diner with sofas, TV and DVD player, and a bathroom with shower over bath. Guests enjoy a large garden with sun shed and furniture, plus open views across the valley where the famous NYMR steam trains pass by. Linen, electricity, Wi-Fi, and parking are included. Sorry, no pets.

Mallard Cottage is set in Esk Valley close to Grosmont, home of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. From the doorstep you can enjoy scenic walks across the valley and wooded hillsides, with wildlife and countryside views all around.

Within a short drive you'll reach Whitby's historic harbour and abbey, the fishing villages of Robin Hood's Bay and Staithes, and the rugged North York Moors National Park. The cottage is a perfect base for exploring the coast, moors, and charming Yorkshire villages.
