Bwthyn Ger Afon (Riverplace Cottage) - Sleeps 2
This cottage has been tastefully renovated and is perfect for a romantic break, and is ideal for a couple. It has wonderful features such as a chimney breast wall and beautiful artwork of the Ffestiniog Railway. The lounge has exposed beams and a multi-fuel woodburning stove on a slate hearth.

A well equipped kitchen has an electric cooker, induction hob, extractor hood, microwave, fridge with icebox and washer/dryer. The downstairs bathroom comes with a shower over the double ended bath.
Upstairs there is a spacious, open king size room with a sitting area. Outside, there is an enclosed, gated courtyard with seating.

Bwthyn Afon (River Cottage) - Sleeps 3
This beautiful cottage has been restored to offer high-quality accommodation whilst retaining original features, such as an inglenook fireplace with multi-fuel woodburning stove and exposed beams in the lounge. This cosy cottage has a delightful open plan living area and the well equipped kitchen area comes with an electric oven/grill and hob with extractor hood, microwave, integrated fridge with icebox & washer/dryer.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms: a double room and a single room. The double room enjoys views across the river, fields and hillside scenery.
Outside there is an enclosed, gated courtyard with seating. A lovely place to sit and relax with a good book or a refreshing drink.

Bwthyn Glan Yr Afon - Sleeps 3
Our 18th Century stone built cottage enjoys lovely views across the river, countryside and open fields. The lounge has a lovely Olde world charm and boasts an exposed stone inglenook fireplace with a multi-fuel woodburning stove on a slate hearth. A separate kitchen comes with an electric oven/grill, gas hob, extractor hood, microwave, fridge with icebox and washer/ dryer. A downstairs bathroom comes with a shower over the bath.

A double and a single room are upstairs. The double bedroom enjoys beautiful views of the landscape. Outside there is an enclosed, gated block-paved patio with seating.

All heating, light, power and starter packs for the multi-fuel and wood-burning stoves are provided and all our cottages have Smart TVs, Free Unlimited Wi-Fi and a good selection of books and DVDs.

Ffestiniog Holiday Cottages are located in Tanygrisiau near Blaenau Ffestiniog in North Wales.

Our cottages are all ideally situated for walks, lakes & waterfalls and are centrally located for you to be able to enjoy and explore all the attractions the Snowdonia National Park has to offer.

The slate mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog is only 1.5 miles away and offers an array of eating establishments, pubs, shops, chemist, garage & leisure centre/swimming pool.

Blaenau Ffestiniog is also the home to the World Famous Ffestiniog Narrow Gauge Steam railway which links to the harbour town of Porthmadog.

Our cottages are the ideal base for exploring the many attractions Snowdonia has to offer. The Italianate village of Portmeirion is only 8 miles away, Llechwedd Slate Caverns, ZipWorld Titan and Bounce Below only 1.5 miles, many CADW heritage sites and beaches being only a short 20 or 30 minute drive away.

Coed y Brenin, one of the best mountain bike centres in Britain is only 12 miles away and of course, there is Snowdon itself, which is about a 30 minute drive.
